Optional Hospitality application

The Optional Hospitality application available on the IP - Link system caters for all the needs of the Small Hotel or Guest House. This application also provides suitable Call Billing information for other service organisation who require control over call costs including:

  • Shared Office Complex’s
  • Studios who lease facilities on temporary basis
  • Holiday Apartments

In addition to the wide range of features supported on the IP - Link system, the following additional features are included in the Hospitality Application.

External Call Cost Monitor

All calls from guest rooms are timed and costs applied in accordance with the charges required. This billing information may be provided on demand or on guest checkout as required.

In addition calls from Reception may be charged to a specific room where the guest has for example requested a call from reception.

Multiple Call rates

Call rates for different call types may be applied, for example Local, National and International calls may all be charged at different costs. Up to 6 rates may be applied and the system will match the call rate to the call type. Call rates may be adjusted at any time by the system administrator.

Wake Up Call

Each guest may elect to set a wake up call from their room phone. This is a simple operation from a program key on the system terminal, with the guest required only to enter the time of call.

Message Waiting

When used in conjunction with the optional Voice Module, voice messages may be left for the guest. This is indicated on the system terminal with a LED indicator and the guest may check these messages with a simple key press. These messages may be left from internal callers or external callers who have been passed through to the unattended guest extension.

Room Status

The Hospitality Application may be used to monitor room status, and for example to indicate when the room has been cleaned. When a room has been cleaned the cleaner may indicate this through the guest room terminal, this is updated in the central system and the status may be viewed from the reception terminal.
